The core advantage of this semi-trailer lies in its lightweight aluminum alloy tank design. The tank is made of 5083/5454 aluminum alloy, which is about 30% lighter than traditional carbon steel tanks. This not only reduces the vehicle’s own energy consumption but also significantly increases the rated load capacity—with a curb weight of only 5,500 kg and a rated load capacity of up to 29,500 kg, greatly improving transportation efficiency. At the same time, the tank barrel is 6 mm thick and the head is 8 mm thick, balancing structural strength and corrosion resistance while maintaining light weight, effectively extending the vehicle’s service life and adapting to complex and changeable transportation environments.
In terms of safety and compliance, the vehicle has been comprehensively optimized. The tank volume is 38,000 L (38 cubic meters), designed with a normal pressure of 0.2 MPa, in line with international hazardous chemical transportation standards. The tank surface is coated with eye-catching “NO FUME” warning signs and red flammable liquid diamond signs, paired with body reflective strips and red-and-white warning bands, greatly improving driving visibility and safety. The bottom loading and unloading pipelines are clearly laid out, equipped with safety devices such as overflow prevention and emergency cut-off, which can effectively avoid safety risks during loading, unloading, and transportation, meeting international transportation certification requirements such as UN and ADR, and adapting to the regulatory standards of major export markets such as Africa and the Middle East.
The load-bearing and handling performance of the vehicle is also outstanding. The 2-axle design, combined with a wheelbase of 6,500 mm + 1,310 mm and BPW or Fuwa air suspension axles, not only ensures driving stability but also effectively buffers road bumps, protecting the tank and the transported medium. Tires can be selected from 385/65R22.5 tubeless tires or 12R22.5 steel tires, which can be flexibly matched according to different road conditions and load requirements, further improving the vehicle’s adaptability. The overall dimensions of 10,500 mm × 2,500 mm × 3,600 mm maximize the tank volume while complying with road traffic regulations, achieving a balance between compliance and efficiency.
