XCMG MQH37 Container Side Loader
The XCMG MQH37 container sidelifter semi-trailer, equipped with a core lifting mechanism from XCMG and a chassis from CIMC, is a professional logistics device integrating independent loading/unloading and long-distance transportation.
Its biggest advantage is that it can independently lift, transfer, and place containers without relying on external equipment such as port gantry cranes or forklifts, perfectly solving the “last-mile” loading/unloading challenge in traditional container transportation while combining high mobility and efficiency.

Sidelifter Lifting Arm Assembly

Its core purpose is self-loading/unloading and door-to-door transportation of containers. On one hand, the hydraulic side-lifting arms on both sides can smoothly lift 20-foot or 40-foot standard containers from the ground, trucks, or yards and place them accurately on the semi-trailer. On the other hand, after loading, it can function as an ordinary semi-trailer to quickly transport containers to the destination and then complete unloading independently, truly realizing a closed-loop “loading, transportation, unloading” process and greatly reducing dependence on fixed lifting equipment.
In practical applications, this device demonstrates strong scene adaptability.
In ports and railway yards, it can serve as supplementary capacity to quickly divert backlogged containers and avoid congestion of large lifting equipment.
In logistics parks and inland yards, it can directly handle short-distance container transshipment without the need to build special lifting stations.
In construction sites and remote factories, it is particularly suitable for delivering materials to temporary projects or remote locations, solving the container loading/unloading problem in areas without large lifting equipment. Additionally, in emergency rescue scenarios, it can quickly transfer special containers such as medical cabins and equipment boxes, becoming a reliable assistant for emergency support.
Technically, this product is equipped with XCMG’s mature hydraulic side-lifting system, and the model “MQH37” indicates its maximum lifting capacity of 37 tons, which can meet the lifting needs of most standard containers. The CIMC chassis ensures the stability and load-bearing capacity of long-distance transportation, and the multi-axle design keeps the vehicle stable even on complex road conditions.
At the same time, the device is easy to operate and can be mastered after short-term training. It is also equipped with comprehensive safety protection devices to effectively avoid risks such as rollover and slipping during lifting, balancing operational efficiency and safety.
